Wojciech "Walter" LEKAWSKI- Obituary:
Peacefully on Sunday March 7, 2010 at Hillsdale Estates. Walter in his 86th year. Beloved husband of “Alice” Alicja for 58 years. Loving father of Eugene Lekawski (Beverly) of St. Catherines ON., Edward Lekawski (Agnes) of Canberra Australia, and Gerry Lekawski of Ottawa ON. Devoted “Grandpa” to Andrea, Alexander, Lisa, Stephanie, Erica and Nicholas. Will be sadly missed by his brother Eugene Lekawski in Poland and nephew Zbigniew Lekawski (Kristina) and niece Kristina Kocemba (Jan). Relatives and friends may call at MCINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with prayers at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 10:00 am at ST. HEDWIGS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 411 Olive Ave., Oshawa. Interment Mt. Lawn Cemetery.
