Wayne Gilbert ATKINSON- Obituary:
Wayne passed peacefully away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on July 9th, 2010 at the age of 60. Dear brother of Joan Kolewaski (Ed), Arthur (Willie), Richard (Edna), Murray (Jackie) and Perry. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Velva Atkinson, sister Marion Pender, and brothers Kenneth, Earl, Nelson and James. Wayne will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews and especially from the Brantford bunch, and all his friends in Newcastle. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service which will be held on Friday July 16, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Moose Lodge # 2132 (731 Wilson Rd. S., Oshawa). A private family interment will occur at a later date at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made through MCINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
